Divorced, Separated and Widowed Ministry
Divorced, Separated and Widowed Ministry is a new enterprise Saint Stanislaus is launching in September 2006. Anyone is welcome and parish membership is not required. Oftentimes, after a divorce or a death of a spouse, we feel like we are freefalling. Our safety nets seem to have disappeared and our networks crumble. Our lives are jumbled and we ask what’s next? Is there still a place for us in our world, in our Church? What do we need to put our lives back together? Our Parish cares about you and invites you to join our new group for people with similar experiences. On the first Thursday of the month, those who are divorced, separated, or considering the same, meet in the Polish Heritage Center at 7:00 p.m. Those who are widowed meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Then, on the third Thursday of the month, also at 7:00 p.m. both groups will gather for an evening of fun. This can include cards, Bunko, checkers, chess, or other board games of your choosing.
